Black Friday web hosting 2026: the prices to know before 27 November

The prices below were read on the hosts' official pages between 18 and 24 October 2026; the date of each reading is in the table. We did not run a benchmark for this page. From 10 November 2026, we re-read each page every day and add each host's Black Friday deal here, with its date, on the day it appears. A deal missing from this page is not a deal that does not exist: it is one we have not read yet.

LWS, o2switch and PlanetHoster are French hosts: their prices are the ones shown to a visitor in France, in euros, mostly excluding VAT. Ultahost is priced in US dollars.

Reference prices before Black Friday

Shared hosting plans are sorted by 24-month cost in euros, cheapest first; the Contabo VPS, a different category, sits apart on the last line. Dollars are converted at the ECB rate of 23/10/2026 ($1 = €0.89342). At HostPapa, the starting price requires paying three years upfront: the 24-month column shows that share, but you pay €106.20 at checkout. What a Black Friday discount can really save

On entry-level shared hosting, the possible saving is capped by the price itself. LWS Perso cost €17.88 excl. VAT for the whole first year on 24 October. Even a free first year would only save those €17.88. A 50% discount on year one would save €8.94. That is real, but it is not a reason to delay a project by a month.

The saving that matters is on renewal. At o2switch Cloud, year two costs €192 excl. VAT, against €22.32 excl. VAT for year one. At PlanetHoster, the 10-project pack goes from €5.49 to €19.99 per month after 24 months. A Black Friday deal that extends the term at the promotional price (say 36 months instead of 24) is worth more than any percentage shown on the first month.

On a VPS, the percentage weighs more. In 2025, Contabo's Black Friday page (archived on 27 November 2025) advertised 25% off VPS plans on long terms. Applied to the Cloud VPS 4 over 24 months (€105.60 excl. VAT at the 24 October 2026 price), the same discount would save €26.40 excl. VAT. This is a calculation on the 2025 mechanism, not a promise that Contabo will repeat it in 2026.

The four checks to make on the day

1. Work out the cost over the whole commitment, renewal included, and compare it with the "Cost over 24 months" column above. If the deal does not lower that total, it saves you nothing.
2. Read the required term. Many "Black Friday" prices require paying 24 or 36 months upfront. The monthly price shown is then just a division.
3. Check excl. or incl. VAT. LWS, o2switch and Contabo show prices excluding VAT; add your local VAT (20% in France) to compare with a VAT-inclusive price.
4. Look at what disappears on renewal: domain free in year one only, backups as an option, limited number of sites. A discount on a plan that is too small will make you switch plans in a year, at full price.

Should you wait until 27 November?

No, if your site must be online in November. First-year discounts exist all year, and waiting a month to save a few euros on an entry-level plan costs more in lost time than it brings.
